Our People

Denise graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Second Major in Psychology. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2013. Denise’s practice presently covers intellectual property matters, corporate matters, civil litigation, wills, probate and administration. She advises a wide range of clients on their intellectual property rights and portfolios around the world. She also represents clients in contentious intellectual property matters and has assisted a client in prevailing in trademark revocation proceedings at the Intellectual Property of Singapore, by successfully arguing that the tendered evidence of use of the trademark from various third party websites does not constitute use with the registered proprietor’s consent. On the editorial front, Denise has contributed articles to our newsletter, the EC Reporter, as well as to IP publications with international circulation.

Aside from her legal work, Denise is an avid reader and enjoys sitting down to a good book and a warm cup of tea. She also likes going on gastronomic adventures and eating her way around the world. Denise relishes opportunities to savour local cuisines and discover areas of convergence and mutual influence in food from different countries. To this end, Denise is also a firm believer of the importance of supporting local industry and culture.
