Yixin’s practice is focused on international intellectual property prosecution. She advises clients on international issues relating to trade marks and passing off, copyright, patents, and registered designs, and also reviews and drafts intellectual property-related agreements and other commercial contracts.
Yixin graduated with an LL.B from Singapore Management University, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2016.
Prior to joining Ella Cheong, Yixin interned at a leading international law firm in New York. There, she was exposed to various aspects of intellectual property law practice for large American companies, and saw the strategic role of intellectual property for the business development of these companies. Whilst interning at various law firms in Singapore, she was given the opportunity to assist in the conduct of various litigation proceedings, and was also involved in a multitude of commercial matters.
When not at her desk, Yixin can be found on her yoga mat or wandering around taking photographs.
