Prabhuram believes that evaluating needs and objectives is a critical first step in devising and implementing effective IP strategies.  His mindset, dual qualification and international exposure has enabled him to amass extensive experience collaborating with clients across the globe. Besides patent prosecution, his work involves freedom to operate, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, due diligence, appeals, patent oppositions and other strategic advisory, including in relation to plant variety rights and medical device regulatory projects. He has assisted clients in diverse technical fields including biotech, pharmaceutical, medical devices, mechanics, APIs, construction and mining equipment, engines, drivetrains and electrified propulsion systems.

Before he became a patent attorney, Prabhuram was an industrial relations practitioner focused on areas of business and people management.  His strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills are now directed to forging strong professional relationships with startups, individual inventors, universities, SMEs, technology transfer organizations, and multinational companies.
