Angie is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons, First Class) from the University of Manchester and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
Angie was a biotechnologist in molecular diagnostics, protein science, and microbiology undertakings. Her scientific background has equipped her to engage and work effectively with innovators and businesses in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors.
Angie’s legal practice encompasses both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property (IP) work, with a strong focus on IP portfolio management and commercial transactions. She is experienced in advisory work on licensing, technology transfer, manufacturing arrangements, and IT infrastructure projects. On the contentious front, she represented clients before the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal on disputes involving registered design, passing off, copyright and trademark matters.
